Battle of the Bermuda Wine Merchants is On!
We are delighted to invite you to join us for the highly anticipated "Battle of the Wine Merchants" on Saturday, March 9th at Bolero Brasserie. Prepare to indulge in an evening of Chef Jonny’s culinary excellence as our local wine merchants - Gosling’s, Discovery/Burrows, and Pitt & Co - showcase their pairing prowess.
Each course will be expertly matched with a selection of wines from these esteemed merchants. As connoisseurs, we will each cast our votes for the wine that best complements each course. The winning wine merchant will claim the illustrious crystal decanter trophy. Last year, Discovery/Burrows emerged victorious. The question remains: Who will reign supreme this year?

2024 Bermuda Grand Chapitre
The Bailliage des Bermudes invites you to celebrate its 35th anniversary. The first Chaîne dinner in Bermuda was held at the Elbow Beach Hotel in 1989, 27 members were inducted. Thirty-five years later, our Bailliage has over 150 members and a very enthusiastic membership, and is the biggest Bailliage per capita in the world! The chef at the Loren has created a wonderful menu to commemorate this very special time in the existence of our Bailliage.

L'Ordre Mondial - Spanish Wine Tasting at Discovery Wines
We are excited to announce our next event! Please join us for a wine focused Ordre Mondial function at Discovery Wines recently expanded Reid Street store.
The theme for the evening will be SPAIN. At this event we will learn about and taste a selection of wines from Spain and wines made in other countries using grape verities native to Spain.
Along side the wine we will taste various aging’s of Manchego cheese and showcase a whole leg of Iberico ham, which guests will try their hand at carving like a master Cortadores de Jamo.
Priority will be given to Ordre Mondial members.
We are also in conversation with various restaurants for a dinner amical option for after the event. Stay tuned for more details soon to come.

Caviar and Champagne Tasting
Please join the next generation of the Chaine in an indulgent Caviar and Champagne tasting experience featuring 4 types of caviar paired with a different glass of champagne each introduced by our two hosts, Carl Vincent representing Petrossian Caviar and Ben Pewter of The Tasting Room.
Following the tasting experience, we invite you to enjoy some of your favorite caviars and champagne again this time with traditional and non-traditional accompaniments, charcuterie and take advantage of some exclusive discounts on both.

Young Chefs Fundraiser 2024
You are invited to a fundraising dinner at the Bank of Butterfield to support this year's Bermuda candidate Alejandro Trujillo to the International Chaîne Young Competition which will be held in Budapest Hungary in October. Chef Trujillo from the Hamilton Princess Hotel has been practising under our Conseiller Culinaire Christopher Malpas and the Hamilton Princess Hotel Executive Chef Adam Ashe who is a wonderful mentor and supporter.
Only 22 seats will be available. Our Bailliage would like to thank Michael Schrum a Chaîne member and an executive of the Bank of Butterfield who has supported and sponsored this event already a few times. At last year’s fundraiser we were treated by Michael to a visit of the new renovated bank, it was appreciated by all present.
